“BEST” Duramax Mechanic… Maybe not in Yuma.

“BEST” Duramax Mechanic… Maybe not in Yuma. I asked for the best Duramax Mechanic here in Yuma on NextDoor, Facebook, and a couple other social media sites. Basically, no answer. Of course I researched local shops and read reviews. Something I often hear is “everybody makes mistakes,” or “You can’t please everybody,” as an excuse for the fact every local shop has some bad reviews. Now I actually read the reviews. Some are bull pucky, and some sound very legit. Like real complaints.

Then I posted on the Facebook group Duramax of Arizona broadening my search. I actually got a couple recommendations. All in the Phoenix area. I researched them and basically none of the recommended businesses had any legit negative reviews. I did read them. One had a less then 100% positive, but when I read threw there was only one, and by reading the review it was clear the poster forgot to click on positive when he posted his review. Since it was not a positive it prevented the business from having 100% positive. On the other there was one negative review, and it read like a clash of personalities and a lack of trust. There didn’t seem to actually be any actual bad repair service. Yes, just one negative review and it may be that the customer doesn’t trust anybody and the shop was offended by it.

Well, my truck isn’t broken down. It’s just showing some signs of a couple things I need to address before they become problems. Driving it to Phoenix and dropping it off is not out of the question. In fact, it may be the answer to my question.
