cattail jigs

i fish a lake with millions of cattails,and jigs are awesome there! but during february,they suck,i cant find anything else that works either help

Slow rolling cranks and spinnerbaits all day long..... Just chunking and winding.

Yes, that's exactly what I said, and today I caught 6 keepers on a crankbait, a 4+ on a spinnerbait, a 3+ on a totally dead stick senko along with another keeper. I guess I must have believed it when I said it because that's what I did today, and it worked. But hey, if you don't beleive it that's ok too. I also missed some decent fish flipping. I didn't suggest that to you, so golly I must have been holding out on you just to make you not do so good huh?
